The Bridge to the Ridge Island was built in 2003 to connect The Ridge development with what has been known in the past as Chimney Rock Island and is now known as Ridge Island.

Lake Martin is truly a Treasured Alabama Lake. We see the beautiful, crystal clear water, the sandy beaches and the beautiful green trees that cover the vast majority of the shoreline. Once you are on the water, you are able to enjoy truly remarkable visuals of nature’s beauty.

It has become more apparent than ever to me in the past few seasons – girls love wake sports just like the guys. I‘ve had the privlege of getting to know a lot of the riders on Lake Martin and no matter the sport, wakeboarding, wakeskating or wakesurfing, the girls are out there throwing down too.

After removing 15,157 cubic yards of debris, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers completed its cleanup of Lake Martin on July 26 – three days ahead of its July 29 deadline.
