John Coley is the owner of Lake Martin Voice Realty in Eclectic. He and his wife, Palmer, live in Pike Road with their two sons: Jack, 8, and George, 7. Coley also writes a real estate blog – Lake Martin Voice.

Michele Goldhagen is the medical director of Russell Medical Center’s emergency department, where she has seen many an interesting lake-related injury.

With its brightly painted buildings and celebrated pizza, Chuck’s Marina is a lively and much loved hot spot on Lake Martin.

Owner Greg Harris oversees the daily operations with his wife, Jane Garrett-Harris, his son, Milan Harris, and his mother, Milena Bullard, who emigrated from Prague in the Czech Republic after World War II.

Real Island resident Charles Borden has a hand in several volunteer organizations around the lake. He helped form the Lake Martin Resource Association and the Search and Rescue of Elmore County. He’s also a member of the Real Island Fire Department and volunteers at Children’s Harbor
